An Ace Day DVD On Sunday September 4th 1994 an event was held to mark the closure of the ACE CAFE 25 Years earlier, in September 1969. The event reinforced the cultural importance of the ACE CAFE. Our bike and rock'n'roll heroes came out of the ACE to win on the track, starts bands or open clubs. More importantly lifelong friendships were formed here, and many were to be found here again on the day. The day was originally intended to be a ''fag and a cup o'tea'' and to share with friends the dream, of seeing the place open. Little did anyone realize that it would turn into one of the biggest bike and Rock'n'Roll events any of us had seen; an estimated 7k bikes and 12k people turned up, many in period cars and rods.
