Bike GP 1985 - Sweden Duke Archive DVD Freddie Spencer completed an important double at the Swedish GP. He regained the 500cc World Championship that he lost to Eddie Lawson in 1984 and became the first ever rider to bring off the 250/500cc title double. This video is a further insight into what makes Fast Freddie tick and highlights the complexities of sliding a 130 b.h.p. four-cylinder two-stroke Honda round the long smooth curves of the Swedish circuit. Wayne Gardner's heartbreaking retirement after moving to second place is also captured, as is the plucky performance by Britain's Ron Haslam. But it is the camera shots from Randy Mamola's bike which put 'the icing on the cake' of this entertaining film.
