Bike GP 1987 - Spain Duke Archive DVD The pressure was really on as the World Championship moved to the demanding track at Jerez in Spain. Randy Mamola (Lucky Strike Yamaha) had won the first encounter, but Eddie Lawson (Marlboro Yamaha) was determined that he wouldn?t get away with it twice. Equally determined were Wayne Gardner (Rothmans Honda) Rob McElnea (Marlboro Yamaha), Japanese aces Taira (Yamaha) and Yatsushiro (Honda), Niall Mackenzie and evergreen Ron Haslam (Elf). Hang on to the edge of your chairs! The 250 cc class returned to the heroics of a few years ago. Kobayashi (Honda) had won round one, but the Europeans were out in force in Jerez.
