Bike GP 1988 - Japan Duke Archive DVD No less than twenty three world V4 machines were entered for the opening round of the 1988 500 cc World Championship on the exciting Suzuka circuit in Japan. Defending champion Wayne Gardner (Honda), Eddie Lawson (Yamaha), Kevin Schwantz (Pepsi Cola Suzuki) and Randy Mamola (Cagiva) were filmed by no less than seven cameras, plus the on-bike camera which captured the superb action on the twisty 15 corner track. Hot talent and the enthusiasm of the massive Japanese crowd to cheer on their favourite men and machines makes for a breathtaking season opener!
