Bike GP 1988 - Portugal Duke Archive DVD With three different winners in the first three rounds and 1987 World Champion Wayne Gardner from Australia not among them, the Portuguese Grand Prix at Jerez in Spain was all set to really see the sparks fly. Kevin Schwantz (Suzuki) Eddie Lawson (Yamaha) and Kevin Magee were all looking for win No. 2. Further opposition in the big class was likely to come from Wayne Rainey, Christian Sarron and Didier de Radigues (Yamaha), Niall Mackenzie (Honda) and Rob McElnea (Suzuki), while in the quarter-litre race Juan Garriga was flying on the Yamaha.
