Classic Superprix 1989 Duke Archive DVD A massive crowd saw and heard probably the largest gathering of ex-works GP motorcycles since the 1950s. No less than six works MVs (including one with full 'dustbin' fairing) were present as well as a 1939 500 BMW, the ex Hailwood Honda-four, Benelli-fours, a Honda 250-six, a 500 Rennsport BMW, AJS V-four and a rare Norton Cosworth. John Surtees, ex 500cc world champion Hugh Anderson, Honda star Ralph Bryans, Derek Minter and Roger Marshall were there to recapture the magic of racing history - dare we say that a few good dices were witnessed as the exhaust pipes left the air tingling with nostalgia.
