Doran's Bend TT Milestone The bend takes its name from Bill Doran, who, in 1950, crashed his AJS machine and broke his leg. Doran?s is notorious ? a low stone wall the right, beyond which is a huge drop to the river, a blind bend and a tight right-hander. Many riders, including 1920s TT champion Stanley Woods, have had serious wobbles at this unpredictable section.
