This exceptional artwork was unveiled during the 2009 TT, when the Morecambe missile notched up his 15th?win ? top become the second most successful rider ever around the Mountain circuit ? and set a new outright lap record with a staggering average speed of 131.378mph for the 37?-mile course.? This painting captures McGuinness on board the HM Plant Honda Superbike which carried him to his 13th?TT victory during the Centenary TT Celebrations in 2007. This was also the machine on which McGuinness became the first man ever to lap the TT course at more than 130mph, with an average speed of 130.354mph.
