MX Des Nations 2005 DVD Motocross des Nations is known in the bikesport world as the "Olympic Games of MX." The MXdN is the biggest single event in the sport bringing 34 teams from around the world to one circuit, and this year's event was tipped to be one of the best ever! 2005 hailed the return of Team USA and included participation of all of this year?s individual MX world champions. What's more, a good weather forecast for the host town of Ernee, France and a huge crowd meant that the 59th edition of the MX des Nations was set to be a great show! Fifteen-times winners of the 'Nations, the American team, brought an impressive line-up to the event, with the legendary Ricky Carmichael riding alongside Kevin Windham and Ivan Tedesco, the strongest US riders this season. Reigning champions, the Belgians, were also among the favourites alongside New Zealand and France whose teams listed such names as Ben Townley, Josh Coppins and Mickael Pichon. However, it was Carmichael who dominated the competition from the off, and his two race wins led America to their 16th title, matching the all-time win record held by Great Britain. Carmichael's performance capped the best individual season a rider has ever had in the sport of MX racing. This official DVD review covers all the action from every angle, featuring qualifying rounds and all three Motos - MX1 + MX2 Race 1, MX2 + Open Race 2 and the MX1 + Open Race 3. Plus, you can enjoy in-depth special features on the USA, New Zealand, Belgium, France and Italy teams. "Everything's here: the qualifiers, every moto from every class, and trackside interviews with our racers by MXdN alum Ricky Johnson. As a bonus, the DVD starts with excellent in-depth interviews with Ricky Carmichael and Roger DeCoster that alone make the release worth the price." Racer X Illustrated Magazine (USA)
