Motocross 250 GP 1987 - Britain Duke Archive DVD After two rounds of the 1987 250 cc World Championship, the leader was Erik Geboers of Belgium over Finland's Pekka Vehkonen (Cagiva). The two ex-125 cc champions were in determined mood as the championship moved to the sandy Hawkestone Park in England. Local heroes included 18 year old Rob Herring (Yamaha) and Jeremy Whatley (Suzuki). But Sweden's Jorgen Nilsson (Honda) had also previously won at 125 cc level and was looking to get his name on the 250 cc championship. His sand course experience had previously stood him in good stead. But would it this time? Watch this film and find out for yourself.
