The dethroned King of Motocross proved he had shaken off his recent run of mediocre finishes with a blasting performance against the likes of Erik Geboers (Honda), Luxembourg licence holder Jacky Martens (KTM), Dirk Geukens (Honda) and Britain's ever popular Kurt Nicoll (KTM). The action-packed round reached fever pitch in the second leg when the big Berkshire man and Belgian ace Dirk Geukens scrapped all the way from holeshot to finishing line. What a race!
