Union Mills TT Milestone Named after the ?Union? clothing produced at the cotton and wool mills to the left of the road, Union Mills is a deceptively demanding section of the course. It was here, in 1962, where Kunimitsu Takahashi became the first Japanese rider to be seriously injured at the TT after crashing at the right-hander. His 125cc Honda was wrecked and Takahashi ended up in a tree, remaining unconscious for 10 days.
